NOTICES

WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY

A joint service is to be held at Riverway on Sunday, 19th January at 4 p.m.  All are encouraged to attend.  There will also be half an hour of prayer time at our church on Friday, 24th January which will be led by Noel Sharp.

METHODIST DISCIPLESHIP & SPIRITUALITY

Noel & Sam will be leading four sessions on Monday afternoons looking at how the strengths of Methodism from the past can shape our spirituality and living today.  Sessions will include some reading, reflection, sharing and praying together.  Each session will begin at 2.30 p.m. and finish at 4 p.m. here at our church as follows:

20th January – Wesley and the birth of Methodism

27th January – “The Four Alls” and “Grace”

10th February – Spreading Scriptural Holiness – Wesley & Social Justice

17 February – The Catholic Spirit – Wesley & Inclusion

ACTION FOR CHILDREN

Thank you to all who donated following the Christmas appeal and made donations on Christmas Day.  I am delighted to say the total raised amounts to £201.

APPEAL FROM ASYLUM LINK

Asylum Link are asking for donations of sleeping bags that are no longer needed to help keep warm those asylum seekers who have not been allocated any accommodation.  Please speak to Erica Rimmer if you can help.

CRAFT GROUP

Please recycle Christmas cards by giving them to the Craft Group plus any unused Christmas wrapping paper. There will be a box in the church foyer.  Please also note the Craft Group will be resuming on Wednesday 8th January.

LEGO CLUB

The next session in the Church Hall is on Wednesday, 15th January from 3.15 p.m. until 5 p.m.  The Club is suitable for children from Reception to Year 6.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.
