NOTICES
PLAN OF SERVICES AT WEST KIRBY
Copies of the new Plan covering services over the next three months are now available. Pick up your copy from the table in the foyer.
ACTION FOR CHILDREN
This year, by way of a change, we have Christmas Tree decorations to write to the church instead of sending individual cards. They come in the form of baubles and trees. Please take one, write your greeting on it, then tie it to the tree in the foyer for everyone to see. If you would like to make a Christmas donation to Action for Children, there will be a collection box in the foyer.
Many thanks
Catherine Jackson
THURSDAY AFTERNOON FELLOWSHIP
TAF will be holding their Christmas party at church on 12th December. Please note TAF will not be meeting in January.
SINGING OUTSIDE MORRISONS
West Kirby Churches Together have arranged to sing carols outside Morrisons on Saturday, 14th December from 10.30 a.m. The Happiness Band from St. Bridget’s will be leading the singing, and we will be raising money for the Food Bank. Please come along and join in this joyful occasion.

APPEAL FROM ASYLUM LINK
Asylum Link are asking for donations of sleeping bags that are no longer needed to help keep warm those asylum seekers who have not been allocated any accommodation. Please speak to Erica Rimmer if you can help.
GOSPEL CHOIR CONCERT
I would like to offer my very grateful thanks to all who helped to make last Friday’s concert such a success. From the information I have to date, it looks as if we have raised approximately £300 towards the new “Make Lunch” initiative which is a great help. Additionally, according to the feedback, the evening was a great success entertainment wise and socially.

UPDTE ON SHOEBOXES
We have sent 214 boxes from our group. A total of 3386 boxes have been checked and sent from the Wirral group. Thank you to our Craft Group and Spectrum ladies who helped in the warehouse. It was very difficult this year with so few helpers from other groups.
The first truck left on Friday 29th November for Bosnia & Herzegovina and a second truck on Saturday 30th November from the Evesham warehouse to Romania.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to fill our boxes and to the cost of transportation. £600 was donated by our church community.
I know it’s a bit soon, but please can I ask you to recycle Christmas cards by giving them to the Craft Group and any unused Christmas wrapping paper. There will be a box in the church foyer.

CHRISTMAS DUCK HUNT
Starting on 13th December until 16th December 24 Christmas themed ducks will be hidden in shop windows around the town and you need to find them (all ducks can be seen from outside the shops). A map and duck sheets can be collected from Shrimps Hair or Home Estate Agents.
Prizes will be given out on Sunday, 22nd December at Riverway Church at 10.30 a.m.
See posters in the foyer.
