ETHICAL FINANCES INFORMATION EVENT
This Circuit event co-ordinated by Rev Noel Sharp takes place at West Kirby Methodist Church on Saturday, 1st August starting at 10 a.m. and lasting approximately two hours. There will be a speaker from the “Just Money” organisation followed by a choice of short workshops, ending with a Q&A session. Light refreshment will be served, all complimentary.

The next Community Lunch is on Wednesday, 5th August. Sam is already taking bookings.
TECHY COFFEE MORNING
The next session organised by Age UK for anyone with problems with their iphones, ipads etc. will be on Friday, 7th August.
ECLIPSE EVENT AT HOYLAE BEACH
On Wednesday, 12th August there is a solar eclipse and, weather permitting, we should see a 92% coverage at about 7.10 p.m. Cate Warbrick from St. Luke’s thought “why don’t we get together on the beach with a picnic and invite our friends, family and community to join us? It is a great opportunity to be with others as we, for a moment connect and share together the wonder of God’s world”.
Cate has sourced solar glasses from the company ‘Go Stargazing’ with all profits from these sales going to ‘Astronomers without Borders’. Bring your own picnic and join others from 6 p.m. on the beach near the Hoylake Lifeboat Station.
STORAGE SOLUTIONS UPDATE
Please note that work started on Monday, 6th July when the joiner began building new storage. Initially this will be a 2.4-metre-long storage cupboard in the Hilda Shore Room. Once this is complete the craft items stored in the adjoining corridor will be moved into the Hilda Sore Room and the Art Group will move their equipment into the cleared corridor space.
The next phase will be to build a further 2.4-metre-long cupboard in Room 1 where the remaining craft resources will be stored, clearing the final shelves in the secure room. We are hoping this will relieve most, if not all, of
