Rooms to Hire at West Kirby Methodist Church

At the West Kirby Methodist Church premises, we have a range of attractive rooms for hire which can be used for most activities and presently these range from toddlers’ groups through to afternoon tea dances. Some of our rooms have been used by the same community groups for many years, for activities such as fundraising events, indoor sports such as table tennis and badminton, choirs, drama academies, Pilates and weight watcher groups, university lectures etc.

The rooms vary in size from the largest spaces – church itself, which seats 200 and our Church Hall, accommodating 100 people – to the smallest that will seat 15.

Church Hall

The Church Hall is the size of a badminton court and can seat up to 100 in theatre-style or 50-60 seated around tables. This is an ideal space for children’s birthday parties, exercise classes or drama groups. The ceiling is very high, making children’s activities work well here. There is a hatch into this room from the kitchen, should catering be part of your planned activity.

You can rent this space for £19 per hour.

Hilda Shore Room

The ‘Hilda Shore’ room is of medium size accommodating up to 35 people in a variety of formats. It has a tiled floor making it suitable for groups such as flower arrangers and craft makers in addition to other meetings.

You can rent this space for £15 per hour.

West Kirby Methodist Church Room Hire

Room 1

Room 1 is smartly setup conference style. It can be used as a classroom for up to 12 people. Alternatively it can be used for formal or informal style meetings. In theatre style it can seat 20 persons.

The Church

The church itself with its magnificent Willis organ can seat up to 200 people making it ideal for larger gatherings such as concerts or presentations. Besides the Willis organ the church is equipped with a Schiedemayer grand piano. It is a ideal location for music and choral groups to use as a practice and performance venue. Audio and visual presentation facilities are available in the church.

You can rent this space for £22 per hour.
