COMMUNITY LUNCH

The next lunch is on Wednesday, 3rd June.  If you would like to book a place, please contact Sam Hepworth.  We can only cater for 54 people so will have to close the list when it reaches that number.

ANNUAL CHURCH MEETING 24th MAY 2926

There will be much to celebrate on 24th May which happens to be both Pentecost and Aldersgate Sunday as well as a baptism within that morning service, led by Deacon Ellie.

Straight after the service, please do stay on for the Annual Church Meeting, where we can also celebrate the life of the church over the last 12 months, as well as look forward to any future plans.  Tea & coffee will be served in the actual church, from a trolley, so that we can commence the meeting quickly and all still get home as a reasonable time for lunch.

RECYCLING FOR GOODS CAUSES

Although our church no longer accepts stamps we understand that St. Bridget’s has a box outside the Parish Office where you can place not only stamps but unwanted jewellery, coins & currency, mobile phones, cameras & other gadgets.

PET SERVICE IN ASHTON PARK

A pet service organised by West Kirby United Reformed Church takes place on SUNDAY, 14th JUNE 2026 In the events field & terrace, Upper Park.

Bring your furry and feathered friends along for a joyful all-age community service including music & prayers to thank God for the joy animals bring to our lives

Even if you may not be going, please tell anyone you know with pets about this service

WHAT ARE WE PRAYING FOR AT THE MOMENT?

  • Safety at sea and the RNLI, after the two awful incidents at sea in the last week or so, which reminds us of the dangers and how close we all live to those dangers.

There were no slips in the box this week so please remember  to put any prayer suggestions in the box in the foyer

Items for inclusion in the notices should be sent to the Editor, Elaine Phillips,

Flat 3 Lyndhurst, 82 Meols Drive, West Kirby, CH48 5DD (Tel: 07733 057 315) or emailed to elaine5649.ep@gmail.com by 11.59 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding the Sunday of publication.  Any additional notices may be handed to the Steward on duty to be read out to the congregation.
