BENEVOLENT FUND
A reminder that as the service on Sunday, 25th October is a Communion Service there will be a second collection box for the Benevolent Fund at the back of church on top of the bookcase.
TECHY COFFEE MORNING
The next session organised by Age UK for anyone with problems with their iphones, ipads etc. is on Friday, 6th November. There is a charge of £2 for any advice given.
BIBLE STUDY GROUP
The next Bible Study Group will meet at St. Luke’s on Thursday, 12th November starting at 10.30 a.m.
CONCERT BY LIVERPOOL HARMONIC GOSPEL CHOIR

UPDATE REGARDING CHURCH COLLECTIONS
The Worship Group have met and would like to clarify about how and when we collect any offerings made by the congregation.
There will be a collection box with a slot at the top at the back of church on top of the bookcase on the right as you enter church. We are moving from a plate to a box to offer more confidentiality.
We appreciate that many already donate by standing order through the bank, but also some prefer to give at times through the collection plate. If you would like to donate by standing order the church’s bank details are:

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES
Thank you to all who contributed items and helped us pack 209 boxes. Now we’ve packed them we need to transport them to the children and this costs £3.50 per box. Any donations would be very welcome. Boxes will be going to Ukraine, Bosnia, Romania and Georgia.

METHODIST WOMEN IN BRITAIN (MWiB)
The Autumn Gathering of MWiB is on Friday, 6th November from 11.15 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will be held here at West Kirby Methodist Church. There will be worship, presentations to our two charities plus local and global news. The guest speaker will be Rev Sheila Prest (former presbyter in the Wirral Circuit).
All ladies welcome. Bring a packed lunch, drinks will be provided. If you would like to come and would like more information, please speak to Elaine Phillips.
