We have received a message from Mike Hall who would like to express his and all the family’s thanks for the Church’s support at Isobel’s funeral.  A total of £174 was raised for Cancer Research in Isobel’s memory.

REV KIM GOH

It is with sadness we share the news of the passing of Rev Kim Goh.  Kim was our minister from 2014-2019 and died of heart failure on the 18th May.  Kim’s funeral takes place in Chesterfield on Friday 12th June at 3 p.m.  The service will be live streamed so contact Mary Goh at mac.goh58@gmail.com for details if you would like to join the service. CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING

The next meeting of Church Council is on Wednesday, 10th June at 7.30 p.m. in the Hilda Shore Room.  This is an open meeting, all welcome, but only members of CC may vote on any matters.

RECYCLING FOR GOODS CAUSES

Although our church no longer accepts stamps we understand that St. Bridget’s has a box outside the Parish Office where you can place not only stamps but unwanted jewellery, coins & currency, mobile phones, cameras & other gadgets.

ACTION FOR CHILDREN COFFEE MORNING

St. Luke’s, Hoylake will be holding a fund-raising coffee morning supporting Action for Children on Saturday, 27th June from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.  All welcome
